Fire Emblem: Awakening

I can't say enough about this game... I've been hooked on it since I got it and I've run my 3DS dead multiple times playing it.

This is the first Fire Emblem game I've played (I haven't really kept up on my Nintendo games as much as other companies/systems) and I must say I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm still working my way through the story for the first time, and I'm loving every moment of it.

I've been making sure to take my time and pick up every paralogue that's come up as I've played through, as well as fighting with quite a few people who have popped onto my map via spotpass.

The system of classes, and being able to change/upgrade them via Seals is excellent and I'm really liking the ability to customize my party. I've also just started being able to recruit the kids of some of my characters that got together and got married, and it's an interesting aspect of the game for sure.

The only real complaint I've had so far has been that I kind of locked myself into a team and stuck with them, it's not really a problem with the game, but you do get quite attached to the characters, and I find it hard to let them go and bring someone new in.

Overall, I LOVE this game much more than I thought I would (I do generally like tactics style games like this though, so perhaps it shouldn't have been such a surprise) and I may find myself going back and playing the earlier entries in the series after the great experience playing this one...

If you haven't tried it yet, it's definitely worth the pickup!

Fire Emblem: Awakening

Enjoy!
